By Robin Dale

Buying high page rank websites can’t get you the expected traffic. Traffic is the main element of a successful website. To earn huge revenue, the website owners are using the search engines to convert the targeted traffic into potential business. Below are some important SEO tips that will help your dreams come true.

Whenever the internet users visit your website, they don’t look at the coding what they see is the website’s design and graphics. But, its completely opposite when we talk about the search engine bots that crawls your site. Bots never see how wonderful your site looks, they only look at the site code.

Bad coding can affect your site very badly. The website’s pages are crawled by search enignes bots to get indexed. As mentioned before, bots only look at what your code is saying. The analyze the website code and if they found any errors in the code your whole website does not get indexed by the search engine bots. Due to that you may lose your page ranking. To make sure your website code is clear Validate your website code in the W3C’s HTML Validation Service.

Using relevant keywords can get you a better raking in the search engines. For example, if your website is about VPS Hosting, then look after specific keywords in keyword suggestion tools and try to get some similar keywords like “Linux VPS Hosting” and “Windows VPS Hosting”. If the keyword is more specific it will rank easily in search engines on better positions.

Keyword is an important factor in Search Engine Optimization. If you have decided the keywords you want to target they must be used in the site title, header tags as well they should be used throughout the web page, but make sure you do not over use them.

SEO Copywriting Services – Tips on How to Employ the Best

SEO Copywriting Services – Tips on How to Employ the Best
By Sunita Biddu

Search Engine Optimisation

A SEO enabled website improves the number of hits that reach your website via search engine results. In SEO field content is king. Having a flash website is not enough to attract clients to tour website, you want keywords, meta tags and content rich information that will drive traffic to your website through popular search engines.

There are thousands of SEO copywriting service providers advertising their service on the Internet. There is also a lot of self help advice and articles which can help you optimise your website online. Some of these SEO experts provide tools to help you optimise your website yourself, while some offer both web design and SEO content as a package.

But how effective are these experts and the tools they promote? The following checklist will highlight how to employ the best professional copywriting service to achieve maximum SEO exposure at the best price.

Understand the meaning of SEO

Many copywriters purport to know what SEO means but to them it is just a standard term used to spruce up good writing skills. You can check the knowledge of the service provider by asking them about key words such as keyword density, long tail key word searches, keyword analysis etc. If they are unable to provide definite answers to such questions and how they can increase the traffic to your website, then they most likely cannot help you.

Provide detailed information

Ensure you provide your copywriter with detailed knowledge of the service you need, if your focus is on your clients make sure you get your message across. Most SEO copywriter are more interested in optimising your website using keywords and engaging content but lose sight of your clients and their needs. Once the client access your website, consider if the information relevant. Agree detailed briefing with your service provider, giving as much information as you can throughout the process.

SEO service by referrals

Most SEO copywriting services always love to blow their trumpet by referring to websites they have been able to “optimise” online. If a service provider states that they offer top ranking website on the most popular search engine, it is always best to check out their claim. Type in the website’s key word or main product and see if it is at the top of the list. A lot of these professional copywriting providers make claims to get your business but do not get your URL to the top of the pile.

Request for updates

Make sure you stay in connection with your professional copywriter regularly. Keep abreast of new developments on your website and ask for additional changes to be sent to you for approval. Before signing a copywriter read their terms and conditions and make sure they allow unlimited editing. You do want to be stuck with a website that does not produce reliable results.

Price

The cost of SEO copywriting varies considerably. Some charge at the high end of the market even thousands of pounds for SEO optimization, while some charge a few hundred pounds for the same service. Expensive does not necessarily mean better. Be clear on what to expect and always ask questions if anything is unclear.

Search Engine Friendly

Search Engine Friendly
By Pedro Magalhaes

There’s no point in you putting all your effort and time in creating a fancy website where search engines such as Yahoo, Google, and MSN won’t recognize your website due to a matter of factors.

Search engines are extremely clever and dynamic in their approach in rating our websites. They have an army of what we call crawlers or robots which index websites to list on their search result pages.

They use your page links and read your content on each page, where they record all this data on their databases, pulling up the listing as people search for it.

Now to try and make your website friendlier, so that it can be scanned and ranked as high as possible we need to consider some of the following. Frames on websites only confuse these search engine robots so you need to keep away from them.

Don’t use Flash movies or images to represent or enhance important content. This will affect your ranking dramatically as search engine robots only effectively read text on your source code on your web pages. So all that fancy movies or images that you may have put next to important content would be missed from search engine scan, now you can understand how important good quality content is.

Now we going to get a bit technical, you should use Meta tags on each page on your site. A Meta tag is a special HTML tag that is used to store data about a Web page but is not displayed in the web browser. Meta tags provide information such as what program was used to create the page, a description of the page, and keywords that are relevant to the page. Many search engines use these Meta tags to help index your website.

By using Meta tags, you are making the search engine robot’s job easier so they will crawl and index your site more frequently.

Stop using wrong HTML tags like:

<font> to style your page. Use CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) instead because they are more effective and efficient. By using CSS, you can eliminate redundant HTML tags and make your pages much lighter and faster to load.

Your website will rank high on the search engine pages if you follow the simple guidelines which I have put in place for you. If you’re really want to make a success of your site then follow me, CLICK ON ME and let the roller coaster start.

SEO Tips For Your WordPress Blog

SEO Tips For Your WordPress Blog
By Bryan Joseph King

A lot of blogs are using WordPress because it is one of the most SEO-friendly Content Management System (CMS). So here i am going to list some SEO tips to improve your WordPress blog. These are important things to get your WordPress blog optimized. It will help you gain more traffic and rank better in search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc.

  • Install WordPress Plugins
You can get a lot of free plugins online and they will help a lot in optimizing your blog.
  • Optimize permalinks
The default permalink is not SEO-friendly and should be changed right away. For me, the most SEO-friendly would be to use /%postname%/ which will make something like this yoursitename/yourpostname . You can change your permalink by going to Settings >> Permalinks and choose custom structure and input /%postname%/ .
  • Optimize page titles
Page titles are the most important in your single page and should be placed between h1 tags. Titles should be short but keyword-rich.
  • Remove hyperlink of the Title of your single posts
I saw a lot of blogs that hyperlinks the title of their single posts and this is no longer needed since it will still link on the same page. You can easily edit it at Presentation and edit the single.php file.
  • Validate your code
There are a lot of tools online that you can use to validate your code. By validating your code, it will help search engines to crawl your site easier. This requires knowledge in web design to fix these codes so if you can’t do it, you can hire a web developer to do it for you.
  • Add Meta Keywords and Description
Always add meta keywords and description to your blogs because it will help the search engines to identify what kind of blog you have. Choose your keywords wisely (means that you choose keywords that are not so competitive but has a good search volume).
  • Deep-Linking your posts
Deep-linking is where a post of yours links to another related post of yours. Choose the keywords to hyperlink wisely, choose the one that fits most to the post that you’ll be linking.

I am Bryan Joseph King and I’m a programmer and at the same time doing SEO and I’m here to share tips on how to optimize your site or blog. Hope these tips of mine will be a help to you and bring more traffic to your blog/site.

Top Google Rankings – How to Get Them

Top Google Rankings – How to Get Them
By Mike Mcmillan

Top Google Rankings: Everyone wants them so how do you go about getting them? Search engine optimization is enough to make you want to cry like a baby. You’re sure you are doing everything right, but you can’t seem to pump up your listing positions in the SERPs.

First go ahead and cry, get it out of your system. But then come back to the problem and make a change in your SEO thinking strategy. Stop thinking like a person and start thinking like Google. I know, I know–you think in words are phrases. You think in icon-related images. You think with emotion–not in machine code or assembly language like a computer.

Google is a fine lady without emotion. She feels no pain. She feels no happiness or sadness. She is a cold-hearted automaton with one over-riding goal. That goal is to provide a quality user experience. To get top Google rankings you must begin to think as she does–with the same cool equanimity of logic rather than emotion.

Your site may look great with flash animation, frames, java scripts and things moving and popping around all over the place. While these things may have an emotional impact on visitors, these things do not impress Google.

Google is a fine lady but she is an idiot savant. Things that are important to you have no meaning to her. She is good at what she does because she focuses 100% of her energy to her prime directive: To provide a top quality experience for her users.

So if Google could experience love, with what would she be enamored? She won’t tell you overtly, but she does leave clues, she leaves footprints in the sand for you to follow.

Enter your keywords into Google’s search box. Look at and study the first 100 pages coming up in her rankings (listings) for your keywords. Think of these listings as her lovers. Why does she love them? She won’t tell you, but you can infer the reasons for her attraction to them.

Check the URLs for keywords. Investigate the meta tags. Investigate keywords shown in the snippets. Investigate the keyword density and LSI in the text on these pages. Check to see where these pages are getting back-links from, the domains, the PageRank, and how many they have. Investigate the age of these pages. If they are blogs see how often they are updated and what platform they use.

If you will only do these simple things all will become known to you. You can find everything Google cherishes about her lovers and how to please her yourself. Right before you very eyes are the keys to getting top Google rankings.

SEO Test

About 4 or 5 years ago I used to enter SEO competitions, where a random word was selected, and the goal was to see who could rank highest in google for that word.

I learned a lot about SEO from these competitions, and still to this day use some of the tactics I used back then.

What these competitions also taught me was the importance of testing and trying out new ideas, since then I have tested, tested and tested, have several sites set up just for SEO testing purposes, and costantly monitor for algorithm changes.

Tonight I set up a new SEO Test page, it’s just the first of many I will be doing over the coming weeks, all similar but with minor changes, which I will be monitoring closely.
