Actor Josh Duhamel to race Zapcats

We’ve just heard Hollywood actor Josh Duhamel is to take part in the 2010 Drambuie Pursuit of 1745 extreme sports race – an adrenaline-filled event which takes place in the Highlands of Scotland. The actor, who is best known for his role in the Transformers, will be getting stuck in with the challenge this May.

Fifteen teams will compete in the competition and each team will be sweating it out mountain biking, fell running, white water rafting and kayaking, but the highlight of the whole thing is the Zapcat race.

The Zapcats will race each other from Kyleakin to Lochalsh, skimming over the waters at super high speeds, these incredible lightweight catamaran-style boats look like they are going to be heaps of fun.
