This was to be the new Aston Villa Kit for the 2012 2013 season which was leaked before they stunned everyone by not getting relegated

The 2012 2013 Aston Villa home shirt was going to have the nPower Championship logo on the front and sleeves replacing the Premier League logos.

They are now having to quickly (and temporarily) redesign the Villa kit for another 12 months in the Premier League in 13

If the bookies are anything to go by, the Villa nPower Championship Shirt will be required for the start of the 2013 2014 season as they have Villa down as 2nd favourites to be relegated in 2012 13

Aston Villa Sack McLeish Aston Villa Relegated Aston Villa in Championship

News that the New 2012 13 Aston Villa kit has been leaked on the Internet sent Aston Villa owner Randy Learner in to a frightful rage resulting in the sacking of Villa legend Alex McLeish, the fans are reportedly devasted at losing McLeish and plan on unhurling banners saying Bring Back Eck.

I’m not that much of a wine drinker and my knowledge of wine is non existent but I do know I am really enjoying this bottle of Carlos Rodriguez Rioja.

It’s not often I buy wine as I tend to receive 2 or 3 cases a from people who I have helped throughout the year.

On the back of this bottle though I’m really tempted to buy a couple of bottles of Carlos Rodriguez Morum Crianza or Reserva which I believe are aged in oak.

Anyway, enough of the wine let’s get on to tonights waffling.

I was going to write smething about the Google Penguin update but do you know what? there is so much been written about it already I just can’t be bothered.

Next I was going to write something about the seo tests I have been doing this week but I just can’t be bothered again.

So what will I write about tonight?

How about the fact that we spend so much time online in forums, in Google+, talking about marketing, SEO etc. that we forget there is a real world out there and that to 99.9% of people the Google Panda update and Google Penguin update are completely irrelevant.

We may moan that x site appears when we search for x keyword, moan about the strange results, moan that our sites lose rankings, moan about spam results etc. but do you want to know something? Nobody cares.

Get out of these forums, stop talking to other SEO’s or marketing people, go down the pub and speak to real people.

Ask them what they think of EMD’s, what they think of the penguin update, what they think of negative SEO, what they think of bad backlink removal, what they think of Google even.

After 5 minutes of asking different people, just give up, have a couple more drinks and emjoy yourself in the real world.

What I consider one up from this is using SEO for dropshipping or drop shipping

Dropshipping is ideal for the home based SEO who hasn’t the facilities or inclination to keep or display stock like a bricks and mortar retailer.

With drop shipping a good SEO can optimise pages for specific products, take orders online, send the orders to the wholesaler who then dispatch the product direct to the dropshippers customer.

The wholesaler sends all paperwork and bills to the drop shipping SEO who then puts his mark up on and bills the customer.

The key to using SEO for drop-shipping is having the right product ranked high at the right time, the product at the right price, a trustworthy looking website and a good relationship with a wholesaler.

The other beauty of doing SEO for dropshipping is it is quick to get in and out at the right time and move on to the next popular product.

Does anyone know if we are getting any closer to having Analytics on Google+ Pages or Profiles?

It really would be nice to know how many visitors our Google+ Pages and Google+ Profiles receive and even nicer to know where these visitors are coming from.

Although my directory predominately provides free business listings I also provide a range of upgrade listings that take precedence over the free listings.

Just another Jump to Links Test

 

One of these pages which appeared to have been effected by the Penguin update my new SEO Services page on Sim64 was gradually creeping up the rankings and was in the mid 50′s when suddenly it lost all it’s rankings and dropped right out the top 100.

I tweaked some of the over optimisation on it and removed a 1000+ links from a blog footer and now all of a sudden the page is back ranking stronger than ever in the early 30′s

Coincidence, the changes I made, or has the Google Penguin Update  Backdated?
