What does opstopreason mean?

Looks like the BBC have used opstopreason again for the delay at the Tottenham vs Man U game
opstopreason is apparently a coding error on the BBC website and is displayed when matches are delayed.
Judging by the large increase in visitors to this page and the number of comments received opstopreason has been used for the Tottenham vs Man U game
You could also say that Sunderland have caused opstopreason for Villa, by losing to Leicester they have delayed Villa getting relegated for another week 🙂 – Click Here to See New Villa Shirt for 2016/2017

I made this initial post about opstopreason back in 2014 and can’t even remember why.
Now all of a sudden loads of people are searching for it, could someone please comment below to let me know why they have searched for opstopreason
