More Web Work and SEO

It’s now late 2014 and after a 2 or 3 year break from web work and optimising I was back playing at it again.

My directory site UK Small Business Directory had partially recovered from the Panda Update of 2011 but was nowhere near as strong now.

It was still receiving as many registrations but not so many upgrades, AdSense earnings were down but it was still earning enough money so that I didn’t have to worry about working.

I was also tweaking my wheelchair ramps site more and traffic was as high as ever but the big problem was that my competitors ramps were far cheaper than mine and there were also loads of cheaper ramps on the market now.

It was about this time that I built my Shipston Pest Control site to compliment the Pest control site of a client I was doing some stuff for.

I also thought about getting back in to affiliate marketing set my Win a Supercar website back up, but never really did anymore.

To be honest I was still at a bit of a loss as to what to do as I still couldn’t find much inspiration 🙁

The one thing I did do was think about theming my websites more so decided to base everything around V1 so set up – V1 SEO : V1 Sites : V1 Web : V1 Net : V1 SEM
