Nigritude Ultramarine
Nigritude Ultramarine was an early SEO competition organised by SEO forum SearchGuild and sponsored by the Australian affiliate network Dark Blue (hence the title, Nigritude Ultramarine) 

 The general idea of the Nigritude Ultramarine competition was to rank highest in Google for the keywords Nigritude Ultramarine on a specific end date. 

 The Competition started on May 7th 2004 and ended on July 7th 2004 

 There were 2 prizes awarded - 

 An iPod Mini for the site that was number one on Google for Nigritude Ultramarine after one month which was won by forums.merkey.net (sim64.co.uk by TJ was 2nd) 

 An LCD monitor for the site that was number one on Google for Nigritude Ultramarine after two months which was won by popular blogger Anil Dash (sim64.co.uk was 2nd again) 

 This Nigritude Ultramarine page was taken offline in September 2004 

 It was set back up in May 2008 to see if it would rank again for Nigritude Ultramarine in google. 

 12th December 2010 it was given another little tweak. 


Nigritude Ultramarine 2016
With the 12th anniversary of mangeur de cigogne approaching I decided to give this Nigritude Ultramarine page another little tweak and bring it up to 2016 standards.
